Some of these services include:

  • Breeding Soundness Examination – Before breeding a mare, make sure she is in a healthy condition and capable of a successful foaling.
  • Ultrasound Examination – Identifies problems with conception and monitors the progress of the pregnancy
  • Estrus Synchronization – Identifies the timing of ovulation in preparation for insemination. Careful monitoring is required.
  • Artificial Insemination – Coordination of all aspects of artificially inseminating mares with fresh or frozen semen.
  • Confirmation of Pregnancy – This can be done as soon as 14-16 days after ovulation.
  • Infertility Diagnosis and Treatment – If a mare has difficulty conceiving, the condition may be identified and corrected.
  • Pregnancy Management – Monitoring the progress of the pregnancy and helping maintain difficult pregnancies.
  • Pre-Foaling Preventive Care – Helping to assure that the mare is healthy and fit for foaling.
  • Foaling Assistance and Management – Having a qualified veterinary present at foaling assures you that any problems that develop can be handled expertly.
  • Post-Foaling Preventive Care – Managing the mare and foal’s health during the period following foaling is important for the health of both.
